(Gadsden, Al – February 7, 2018) Prime Healthcare has reached an agreement with Connecticut General Life Insurance Company (CIGNA) and HealthSprings of Alabama, Inc. (Cigna-HealthSpring) to continue “in-network” care for its members at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

“This agreement allows Cigna-Healthsprings patients to continue to receive the quality care they are accustom to here at Riverview Regional Medical Center,” said CEO John Langlois. “We are thankful that an agreement was reached between the two parties allowing us to continue our mission of providing quality healthcare to this great community.”

This agreement avoids any laps in coverage for Cigna-HealthSprings members receiving services at Riverview Regional Medical Center and ensures that patients can continue to receive quality, affordable care for both, inpatient and outpatient services here at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
